A university project illustrated to support neurodivergent children transitioning from primary to secondary education. Using the historical narrative of Pompeii and the journey that Pliny experiences as a metaphor. The story gently explores the emotional complexities of change: the good, the challenging, and the uncertainty. It provides a relatable and accessible framework to help children understand and prepare for this significant life transition and offer reassurance by framing new experiences as part of a meaningful and navigable journey.
